ECOCV continues the exploration on west coast of Santiago island. On Saturday, we crossed through the least known area of Santiago, reached the peak of the mountain Monte Angra at 562m above the sea level, admired the crater of an old volcano that descends directly into the bay, and were mesmerised by the magnificent views to the Bay Santa Clara (aka Baia do Inferno). We already see a huge potential of ecotourism in this area, cultural and environmental.
