2-12 of October the first of such kind expedition was conducted in Baia Inferno- the first marine protected area in development for the Island of Santiago. The expedition included international partner from Spain (Edmaktub), CIIMAR (Portugal), UniCV, ECOCV, Biosfera I and community partners in Cabo Verde. The methodology included scuba diving line transects and photo-quadrants; drone surveys and videos with the deep water cable camera's.
