Capacity building of the community guides in Sao Francisco, Porto Mosquito, Gouveia and Rincão. Over the last two years they received training in various areas
from biodiversity monitoring to tour guiding. During the final workshop each community received a kit for terrestrial and coastal eco-tours. While artisanal fishers, our collaborators of
participatory monitoring of marine biodiversity got the marine safety and monitoring box. The kits include essential items such as biodiversity identification and wildlife observation guides,
first aid kits, life jackets, binoculars and more. While the ecotourism manual will serve as good tool to refresh their knowledge.
