What a good day! Today we joined the São Francisco community for the cleanup campaign. Dozens of bags of trash were collected. Plastics (many) and glass (few because of the ongoing awareness raising of the glass recycling) suitable for recycling were delivered to the São Francisco Ecocenter. Now, the community’s streets are much cleaner and more beautiful: for your the eye and for the health. With this activity we officially started a new project with the focus on community of Sao Francisco but also strengthen capacity of the Ecocenter of Sao Francisco for plastic recycling that will benefit thousands of people in the Municipality of Praia and our environment. The project is funded by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives #CFLI #CanadaFund
